I've had my MobiScribe for well over a year, and it took me a few months before I warmed up to it, so I didn't use it very much and even considered selling it.
So before selling it I decided to try using it for taking notes and making diagrams for electrical projects like replacing a main breaker panel or installing a generator transfer switch and sub panel, or some such, where careful measurement and diagrams may be necessary.
What a fantastic tool it is, I use it daily and never use paper anymore, and can dump my drawings and other data on to my computer at home, sweet!
I really enjoy the paper like feel of the stylus across the screen as I'm drawing, and the ability to change contrast just by using more or less stylus pressure adds dimension.
I rarely need the screen light, but it does work very well, and I'm glad it was included in the build.
It's survived a pretty good fall onto concrete, and suffered a buggered up edge, which had no effect on the device, it still works fine.
The battery isn't lasting as long as it used to, so I'll be replacing that when the time comes.
Overall, this could be a valuable tool for many folks, and I have no regrets funding this excellent device.
