The Kaleido 3 screen is currently the best color eink screen available, but it’s still not very good. Specifically, the unlit background “white” color is a much darker grey than a BW eink screen, requiring the backlight to be always on even in well lit rooms.

Additionally, as many other reviewers have noted, the Wave is slow. Slow refreshes, load times, page turns. Returning.
