The Wave - B&W | 7.8"

Good for reading and note taking.

I wasn’t sure about this purchase based on reviews, but I paid $101.00 with shipping and am very happy with my purchase.
I wanted a ereader for a less distracting experience and this Wave 7.8 BW gives me that experience. I use Mobioffice suite pro for my word processing, pdf, and so on. It took a few hours for Google play store to get registered but I was able to use it the night I got the unit.
I actually spilled coffee on the table at church this morning and it went on my Wave. No worries, just wiped it off.
I would definitely buy again. I did contact support to see if there was going to further updates for the device and was informed that another update was being released soon. This was told to me in August 2025. They were also looking into their next device...time will tell.

In general, the Wave B&W is light and has a larger screen. Would be great if in the Notes app pages would expand and contract when you put the menu bars vs full screen as they don in the Origin. As it stands now, notebooks imported from the Origin are cropped on the top and left sides when the menu bars are on. Keeping the bars on is nearly always required since there do not appear to be reliable gestures to move back a page.

Order Never Arrived - No Reply from Support Until day after Chargeback was successfully applied. It was shipped supposedly even had a fed ex tracking but delivery photo was blank and no fedex truck was even on my street near the deliver time.
